Maruca Design creates artsy fabric bags that are unique, functional, and stylish. The process begins with Jacquard fabrics that are woven in mills located in the USA with over 100 color shades created for each pattern. Twice a year our designer selects the fabrics and desired colors for our Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter Collections. The selected fabrics are then shipped to Maruca and cut into color swatches and worked into a variety of unique pattern & color combinations. This step is an important part of the creative process that makes Maruca bags so magical and recognizable. Using the wide variety of Maruca bag patterns, our fabrics are then hand cut into the individual pieces that make up each bag. Our custom-woven straps, zippers and cut fabric pieces are then bundled together and handed off to highly talented local sewers who hand sew every Maruca bag with the utmost attention to detail. The finished bags are then made available to you, our loyal Maruca customers, in select retail stores, boutiques and museums across the USA and on our website at www.marucadesign.com.
